Pebble Beach, Calif. (September 7, 2012) - Being ranked No. 1 never gets old for Robert Tent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II), which has earned the top spot on GOLF Magazine's list of "Top Courses You Can Play" in Hawaii, following its recently completed renovation of the Prince Course at Princeville, Kauai.

Tacoma, Wash. (October 23, 2013) - At a golf tournament staged as a lead-in to the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay Golf Course south of Tacoma, Wash., Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the world-renowned architect of the course, was recognized by having a scholarship fund named in his honor.

PALO ALTO, Calif., December 4, 2008 — The golf course architecture firm of Robert Trent Jones II® (RTJ II)—long known for developing golf courses in an environmentally responsible manner— has released its Green Proclamation: ten tenets that have guided the company’s design philosophy and that the firm commits itself to pursuing into the future.

The Green Proclamation complements the environmental efforts expended by the USGA, ASGCA, GCSAA, PGA of America, Audubon International, and other golf industry organizations.

Palo Alto, Calif., (April 7, 2015) - Following its 2014 renovation of Poppy Hills Golf Course, in Pebble Beach, Calif., storied golf architecture firm Robert Trent Jones II (RTJ II), has completed an extensive remodel of Contra Costa Country Club (CCCC) in Pleasant Hill, California. Routing through rolling foothills, the 90-year-old walkable course was originally designed by golden-age architect Arthur Vernon Macan.

Palo Alto, CA. (September 22, 2014) - The design team at RTJ II can break out their “ThreePeat” T-shirts, now that the 27-hole Onyria Palmares Golf Course has won “Best Golf Course in Portugal” honors for the third consecutive year.
