Palo Alto, California— Oxbow Country Club in Oxbow, North Dakota, reopened this month following an extensive and comprehensive renovation by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II).
The course, originally built in 1975 near the Red River, was one of Jones’s earliest designs. Hugging the river’s U-shaped “oxbow” bends from which it took its name, the course quickly became recognized as one of the region’s premier layouts.

Palo Alto, California— The City of Spokane has selected Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) to develop master plans for each of the four city-owned golf courses: Indian Canyon, Creek at Qualchan, Esmeralda, and Downriver. The master plans will help guide facility improvements beyond irrigation needs and provide a roadmap for future refinements.
Palo Alto, California— Reinventing the golf experience at Singapore’s premier golf and country club, Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) has designed multiple playing loops into the routing for the new Garden Course at Tanah Merah Country Club.
Construction for the complete renovation project is scheduled to begin in January, with the redeveloped Garden Course to be ready for play in early 2020.
